Since then, he pursued a career in production and business management. During his pursuit he has been an executive in several different industries and venues. A restauranteur, regional trainer, and strategy developer for technology retail (Best Buy, Inc), an executive in the veterinary and pet wellness retail industries (Banfield, PetSmart/Petco), and president of a small private equity firm covering 8 separate industries.
He is passionate about servant leadership and believes that city government should be responsive to the needs of its residents. He has a record of accomplishment of being able to identify and address the needs of a community, a business, and a team. He has a track record of being able to work with Councils and other city officials to get things done.
TJ plans to continue to be an active part and deliver for the community alongside his husband Tim and the two corgis Keoke and Maui. If you see them out don’t hesitate to stop and say hello.
If elected he will work to ensure that local government has a positive effect on our quality of life and not be intrusive to the residents of Tiffin. He will ensure all residents have a voice and make decisions in the best interest of the cities residents.
Together, we can push past the small and divisive politics that we see in the country today–and get back to the big, bold vision that defines Tiffin.
“Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality. Not me, US!”
As a small business owner, I have met a payroll every month and created jobs of high-skill, high wage jobs. I will have the backs of all those with a dream looking to create great jobs in the community.
